Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride

An emollient which helps soften the skin by trapping moisture in your skin Triglyceride and forming a protective layer so the moisture cannot escape.

Vitamin C

As an antioxidant, it works to protect against UV-induced cell damage and lipid peroxidation, two of the strongest contributors to the ageing process. It can also act as an anti-oxidant protecting the skin against ageing and promoting collagen synthesis and collagen protection.

Jojoba Oil

A lighter oil that absorbs quickly into the skin, full of nutrients like Vitamin E and B, as well as antioxidants and minerals like chromium, copper, and zinc, which all nourish and protect the skin. It deeply penetrates to soothe and soften while providing an excellent moisturizing effect and adding a healthy glow.

Sunflower Oil

The linoleic acid in sunflower seed oil protects and moisturizes skin, improving hydration with essential fatty acids while improving the skin barrier. Its anti-inflammatory properties are renowned for helping soothe dermatitis, and the oil can also protect sensitive skin from irritation.

Grapeseed Oil

Within the humble grape seed exists highly concentrated levels of vitamin E, linoleic acid, flavonoids, and a chemical called oligomeric proanthocyanidin complex (OPC). Grape seed extracts contain an abundant amount of polyphenols, which are known to be excellent binders of collagen fibers within your skin. This helps to maintain the skin’s elasticity.

Snowflower (Melaleuca Alternifolia Leaf Extract)

Snowflower contains are a vast range of active phytonutrients that deliver benefits to your skin including anti-ageing, anti-inflammatory, reduction of redness and pigmentation, skin repair and protection.

Vitamin E

Buriti Oil

This oil is a rich source of natural Beta Carotene. It contains five times more beta carotene than carrots at around 30 g per 100g pulp. Beta Carotene is a powerful antioxidant, useful in reducing the potential for inflammatory damage of the skin. As such this is a wonderful addition to any anti-ageing formula or for products aimed at protecting aged dry or sensitive skin.

Chia Seed Oil

Chia Seed Oil has been found to have an anti-inflammatory action on the skin which makes it great in anti-ageing products and those suited to sensitive skin.

Olive Squalene

Squalane is a molecule similar to squalene, which occurs naturally in the sebum. Its light and easily absorbed, it leaves the skin really silky and smooth. It softens the skin, improves elasticity, protects against moisture loss and has a luxurious skin feel.

Rosemary Extract

A potent antioxidant, rosemary leaf extract protects the skin and prevents signs of premature ageing. Rosmarinic acid (the main component in rosemary leaf extract) is powerfully calming for skin conditions like eczema and acne. Rosemary leaf extract has anti-fungal, anti-viral and antibacterial properties.
