MOVICOL Junior is a Paediatric formulation that provides effective relief from constipation in children aged 2 - 12 years.
Effective relief from constipation, treatment of chronic constipation and resolution of medically diagnosed faecal impaction. MOVICOL Junior is an effective laxative that works in harmony with your body's own processes, to gently restore healthy bowel movements. It's suitable for all kinds of constipation and most people, easy to prepare and use. Just follow instructions in the pack, and ask your pharmacist if you have any questions

-While some laxatives may work slightly faster, the onset of their action can be relatively harsh.

How to use
Children aged 2-5: Usual starting dose is 1 sachet daily.
Children 6-11: Usual starting dose is 2 sachets daily.
The dose should be adjusted up or down as required to produce regular soft stools. The maximum dose does not normally exceed 4 sachets a day. Each sachet should be mixed with 62.5 mL (about 1/4 glassful) of water to drink.

Macrogol 3350, Sodium chloride, Sodium bicarbonate, Potassium chloride.
Warnings
Drink plenty of water. Increase fibre in diet. Prolonged use of laxatives is undesirable and may lead to dependence. Do not take MOVICOL if you have an obstruction in your intestine, perforated gut wall, severe inflammatory bowel disease, paralysis of the bowel or an allergy to any of the ingredients. If you are pregnant or breast feeding, talk to your doctor before you take MOVICOL. Laxative products such as MOVICOL have the potential to interact with other medications- speak with your doctor or pharmacist for advice. Not for use in children less than 2 years of age.Â
