Product Details
Actilax mixture is for the treatment of acute, and prevention and treatment of chronic Portal-Systemic Encephalopathy (PSE), including the stages of hepatic precoma and coma. It's also for the treatment of chronic and habitual constipation.
How to use
Adults - Usual initial dose is 15 to 30mL daily, after three days, dose may be reduced to 10 to 25mL daily for maintenance.
Children - It is recommended that Actilax be given to infants and children under medical supervision.
May be taken mixed with fruit juice, water or milk. In general, patients taking ACTILAX for constipation should drink plenty of fluids and ensure that there is adequate fibre in their diet.
Ingredients
Each 5ml contains: 3.3g Lactulose and no more than:
0.50g Galactose
0.33g Lactose
0.50g Epilactose & others
