Medstock Silicone Foam Dressing with Border is a highly absorbent 5-layer foam dressing that is gentle and conformable to fragile wound tissue. Its perforated silicone skin contact layer provides gentle adhesion to surrounding tissue without sticking to the wound bed. This ultimately provides protection to fragile, newly formed tissue and ensures atraumatic removal.

Indications to Use:

Suitable for wounds with moderate to high exudate

Skin tear management

Venous and arterial leg ulcers

Diabetic ulcers

Partial thickness burns

Surgical wounds

Traumatic wounds

Pressure injuries

Secondary dressing over cavity wounds

How to use

Place product on a dry and clean wound with the white contact layer face down.

Allow for a minimum 2cm border overlap around the wound area onto dry surrounding skin.

Suitable under compression bandaging.

Can be left in place for up to 7 days but should be changed immediately if 3/4 full.

Polyurethane film, Superabsorbent fibres, Non-woven fabric, Polyurethane foam and Silicone gel

Warnings

Arterial bleeds and heavily bleeding wounds. Do not use Medstock Silicone Foam with oxidizing agents such as hypochorite solution (e.g. EUSOL) or hydrogen peroxide. Do not cut Medstock Silicone Foam with Border.
