Medstock Silicone Foam Lite Dressing with Border is a thin profiled, 4-layer foam dressing that is gentle and conformable to fragile wound tissue. Its perforated silicone skin contact layer provides gentle adhesion to surrounding tissue without sticking to the wound bed. This ultimately provides protection to fragile, newly formed tissue and ensures atraumatic removal.

Indication for Use:

Suitable for wounds with nil to low exudate

Traumatic wounds (including abrasions, skin tears and blisters)

Surgical wounds

Low exuding ulcers

Protection of compromised or fragile skin

How to use

Place product on a dry and clean wound with the white contact layer face down.

Allow for a minimum 2cm border overlap around the wound area onto dry surrounding skin.

Can be left in place for up to 7 days but should be changed immediately if 3/4 full.

Warnings

Arterial bleeds and heavily bleeding wounds. Do not use Medstock Silicone Foam LITE with oxidizing agents such as hypochorite solution (e.g. EUSOL) or hydrogen peroxide. Do not cut Medstock Silicone Foam LITE with Border.
