Medstock Foam Non-Adhesive Dressing is a highly absorbent, polyurethane foam dressing that contains carboxymethylcellulose (CMC) hydrophilic granules that promotes and maintains a balanced, moist healing environment.

Ability to vertically wick exudate away from the wound and retain exudate in the core of the foam

Non-adherent to the wound preventing damage to healing tissue

Surface layer consists of a semi-permeable polyurethane film to protect the wound against water, bacteria and foreign matters

Good elasticity which prevents pressure on the wound bed

Effective odour control for malodorous wounds

Indications of Use:

Suitable for wounds with low to high exudate

Adaptable to different phases of wound healing

All depths of ulcers

Partial thickness burns

How to use

Ensure wound area is clean and dry before application.

Dressing pad should overlap the wound by at least 2cm onto the dry surrounding skin .

Can be IefI in place for up to 7 days but should be changed immediately if 3/4 strikethrough (visible exudate) is apparent Can be used as a secondary dressing over hydrocolloid paste, alginate and other primary dressings.

If necessary, the dressing can be cut to the required shape and size.

Additional tape or other means of fixation must be used to secure dressing.

Do not use Foam Non-Adhesive Dressing with oxidising agents such as hypochlorite solutions (e.g. EUSOL) or hydrogen peroxide. If reddening or sensitisation occurs, discontinue use and consult a physician.
