How to use
Duration of use: Unless otherwise prescribed, the duration of administration is 7-14 days. Please note the information under �Warnings'. If you experience no improvement by then please consult a doctor.
ADULT DOSAGE
Adolescents from the age of 12 years and adults Single dose: 7.0 ml = 8.4 g Total Daily Dose: 21.0 ml = 25.2 g (3 times 7.0 ml)
CHILDREN DOSAGE
Use in children: Sinupret� Syrup should not be used in children under the age of 2 years. Children from the age of 6 to 11 years Single Dose: 3.5 ml = 4.2 g Total Daily Dose: 10.5 ml = 12.6 g (3 times 3.5 ml) Children from the age of 2 to 5 years Single Dose: 2.1 ml = 2.5 g Total Daily Dose: 6.3 ml = 7.5 g (3 times 2.1 ml)

Warnings
Talk to your doctor if you experience nosebleed, fever, severe pain, purulent nasal discharge, impaired vision, asymmetric midface or eyes or facial numbness, because these symptoms or findings are generally considered as severe warnings for all forms of sinusitis which require examination by a medical specialist and urgent medical treatment. Talk to your doctor if the symptoms persist for more than 7 - 14 days, worsen or recur periodically. In case of known gastritis and patients with a sensitive stomach particular caution is required when taking this medicine. You should preferably take Sinupret Syrup after meals and with a glass of water. Use in children: The use in children under 2 years of age is not recommended because of lack of sufficient data. Other medicines and Sinupret Syrup: Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking, have recently taken or might take any other medicines. Pregnancy, breast-feeding and fertility: If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine. Like all medicines Sinupret Syrup should be administered during pregnancy only after strict risk-benefit evaluation by the attending physician. It is unknown whether the active substances / metabolites of Sinupret� Syrup are excreted into breast milk. Sinupret Syrup should not be used during breast-feeding.

Like all medicines Sinupret� Syrup should be administered during pregnancy only after strict risk-benefit evaluation by the attending physician. It is unknown whether the active substances / metabolites of Sinupret� Syrup are excreted into breast milk. Sinupret� Syrup should not be used during breast-feeding. There are no human data on the effect of the medicine on fertility.
ESSENTIAL SAFETY
Like all medicines, Sinupret Syrup may cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. Gastrointestinal disorders such as stomach ache, nausea and local hypersensitivity reactions such as rash, skin redness, itching are uncommon (1 to 10 out of 1,000 patients treated). Furthermore, systemic allergic reactions such as swelling of the lips, tongue and throat and/or larynx with narrowing of the airways (angioedema), shortness of breath, face swelling may occur. The frequency is not known. In case of first signs of a hypersensitivity or allergic reaction Sinupret Syrup must not be taken again. If side effects occur, stop taking the medicine immediately and consult a doctor. He/she can decide on their severity and any necessary further measures.
