Zovirax Cold Sore Cream Pump 2g

Product Details

Zovirax Cream delivers the antiviral active ingredient, aciclovir, in a special formulation containing MAC-P. MAC-P is an absorption accelerator that allows the active ingredient to penetrate the skin 5 x faster to get to the area where the virus is reproducing. Once it reaches this area the active ingredient springs into action making it difficult for the virus to reproduce itself. When that happens, your body's natural defences can get to work and help to heal the cold sore. The cream also contains ingredients which help moisturise deep within the skin to soothe and protect.

24hr aciclovir penetration compared to other aciclovir creams.

The Mac-P Penetrating Cream Formula in Zovirax gets to the site of infection fast to speed healing.

Zovirax Cold Sore Cream contains Aciclovir, an antiviral agent that inhibits the multiplication of the cold sore virus. It is an easy rub in formula.

How to use

1. Wash your hands thoroughly before and after treating the cold sore so as to avoid making it worse or giving the infection to someone else.

2. Apply the cream to completely cover the whole affected area. Do not touch your eyes until you have washed your hands.

3. Apply the cream to the affected areas 5 times daily about every 4 hours. If you forget a treatment apply some as soon as you remember, then continue as before.

4. Continue treatment for 4 days. If your cold sore has not healed after this time, or your cold sores become very severe, consult your doctor.
